The philosophy of Zen 2 Buy is that You, the user does not have to type anything, just click on icons to navigate and mark products for your list. This way creating a list is a matter of seconds not minutes. But speed comes with a price - your lists are limited by the existing icons. To effectively use the application use it as a broad reminder, not as an exact purchase instruction, there are plenty of other text based TODO lists for this.
Our main goal was to make Zen2Buy very easy to use. The application is designed with the assumption that in a relationship the partners know each others' preferences. The husband knows what kind of bread his wife eats, what kind of cheese and yogurt she likes etc. So there is only one type of cheese, bread, ice-cream icons that work as a reminder - hey I need to buy cheese. What kind of cheese the app will not tell, it's up to You to know your family's preferences. This allowed us to design a simple interface that is easy to navigate to find the necessary product icon.
Nevertheless there are probably products that you usually buy that are missing from Zen2Buy. In this case please let us know and if it's a product that many people buy, we will add it to the application.

+ You can increase quantity by clicking multiple times on a marked product.
+ To deselect a product click it and drag (swipe) outside the product.
+ To scroll on mobile devices use the black area or the selected category. (The app is better used in portrait mode)
+ When changing the categories the selected products will be added to your shopping list - visible in the bottom of the screen.
+ To remove a product from the list just click it.
+ During shopping click the up arrow in the top-left corner to see only the shopping list you created.
+ Click on a purchased product to remove it from the list.
Zen2Buy app can work offline without any connection to internet but You can also send your shopping list to your partner via email when online. Your partner will receive a link that when opened will show your list.
